Foreign policy of the Second Republic: Our reputation as a nation dedicated to democracy was saved by Hitler!

With the Munich Agreement, Czechoslovakia lost almost 30,000 square kilometers of territory on which 3.75 million people lived. The state body thus formed is called the Second Republic. The leaders of that state argued that lessons had to be learned from the mistakes of the First Republic.
