Flags retired in Pine River ceremony

PINE RIVER — The Pine River American Legion Post 613 Auxiliary and local Boy Scouts worked together to honor the nation's flag with a Flag Day ceremony Sunday, June 14. The Scouts folded the flag during a reading explaining the 13 folds. Worn flags were presented to Scout representatives, a Pine River police officer and Pine River firefighter to dispose of in a brazier.
