29er EuroCup Slovenia in Koper Day 1 - Fierce winds challenge sailors

The opening day of the 29er EuroCup Slovenia in Koper proved to be a true test of skill and endurance, as competitors battled intense wind conditions on the Adriatic.

Five Slovenian sailors, including silver Olympian Toni Vodiška due to recovery from surgery, will perform on the Spanish island of Mallorca. There, on Monday, the Princess Sofia Cup will begin with the first sails. Lin Pletikos and Žan Luka Zelko will compete in the ilca class, Marina Vodišek in kite formula, Lina Erzen and Val Eržen in IQfoil.
