Prince Edward County Fire & Rescue responded to a report of a garage fire on Christian Road on Wednesday. A huge fire gutted a home in Prince Edward County on Wednesday night. PEC Firefighters responded to a report of a garage fire on Christian Road by Highway 62 around 8:20 pm. When they arrived, they discovered that fire had spread to the attached home. The residence is a total loss with damages estimated at $700,000.
