(KRON) -- Cal Fire is responding to a wildfire west of Scotts Valley in the Santa Cruz Mountains Friday afternoon. The wildfire, named the Hermon Fire, grew to 2 acres by 12:38 p.m. and is 50 percent contained, Cal Fire said. As of 2:47 p.m., Mt Hermon Road remained closed from Scotts Valley to Felton.
