European Union member states have submitted national defense plans under a new security initiative, with fifteen countries including substantial support for Ukraine in their proposals. The plans are part of a broader €150 billion fund designed to enhance Europe's defense capabilities and industrial sustainability.
All 19 countries that previously applied for a loan from the new financial instrument, SAFE (Security Action for Europe), have submitted their national defense investment plans.
