Family of Israeli hostage held in Gaza says his life is at risk, needs emergency treatment
Speaking at the Knesset, Matan Angrest's brother said Netanyahu had told the family once that he had not been aware of Matan's condition. 'How is it possible that a prime minister is uninformed about a soldier who was kidnapped on his watch?' he asked
The father of 48-year-old Omri, who has been held captive by Hamas for 607 days, spoke in an interview with Maariv about the unbearable reality of the hostages: "Every moment, every second, there is danger for the hostages." He also said: "The negotiations did not stop even when the delegation returned."
Idit Ohel wrote against the backdrop of the draft exemption crisis, which could lead to the dissolution of the Knesset: "Yes, elections, no elections? 607 days that the kidnapped were denied the right to choose whether to go to the bathroom." She added: "I ask the public, the media, and the few politicians who have a heart - not to take their eyes off the issue of the kidnapped."
