At the Gerhard-Hauptmann-Straße on 5.9. morning suspected frauds were on the way. Around 07:30 a "false water worker" rang at a senior from Haltern am See. He explained to her that there had been a pipe break and he now had to control her apartment. With this scam the man gained access to the apartment and commissioned the senior to help him with the work. Meanwhile, probably a second perpetrator stole jewelry and cash from the apartment....
