After Plenty of Ups and Downs, Osaka Expo Concludes with Message of Unity
The Expo surpassed the 2005 Aichi attendance by 3 million visitors and is expected to generate an operating surplus of up to 28 billion yen, organizers said.

- Despite falling short of the 28 million target, construction costs rose to 235 billion yen after two increases, with 158 countries participating and the flag to be handed to Saudi Arabia.
