An explosion took place this afternoon at a porch house in the Uiterwaardestraat in the Rivierenbuurt. The police are still investigating whether there was intent. The loud bang of the explosion could be heard in the neighborhood around 2:30 PM. According to the police, a cloud of smoke could also be seen a short time later. The damage was mainly to the porch door. The police have cordoned off part of the street for investigation.
