- Acting on instructions from Commissioner of Police Wilfred Olutokunbo Afolabi, a tactical unit led by the Deputy Commissioner was mobilized to swiftly apprehend suspects, while urging citizens to report any suspicious behavior and uphold the law.
- Authorities in Ondo State have denounced the attack, committed to increasing security measures at schools throughout the remaining examination period, and have handed the matter over to SCID for further investigation and legal action.
