Lake Fire: Forward progress stopped, evacuation warnings lifted in Clearlake

A vegetation fire that began in Clearlake has prompted evacuations in Lake County Sunday, according to Cal Fire.

Evacuation orders lifted in 340-acre wildfire in Clearlake, downgraded to warnings

(KRON) -- Evacuation orders were issued for parts of Clearlake Sunday afternoon as approximately 287 acres have burned, according to Cal Fire. As of 5 p.m., the fire is now 340 acres and is 5% contained. As of 6:30 p.m., the zones that were previously listed under an evacuation order have been downgraded to "evacuation warnings," Cal Fire announced on X. Those zones affected 3,386 people.
