ED initiates FEMA investigation against Mumbai-based film producer

- Sangani co-founded the Shekhar Suman Film Academy with actor Shekhar Suman, though a response from the academy regarding the investigation is awaited.
- The Enforcement Directorate filed a complaint with the Mumbai Police accusing Sangani of destroying evidence, while Customs authorities in the United Kingdom and the United States examine linked transactions.
