Caretaker Minister David van Weel (VVD) confirmed on Wednesday morning that he will take on the asylum portfolio after the departure of PVV Minister Marjolein Faber. In the radio program Sven op 1, Van Weel said that he "started working this morning" to get Faber's asylum laws through the House after all.
