DR APJ ABDUL KALAM ISLAND, ODISHA, INDIA, JUL 29 – User Evaluation Trials confirmed Pralay missile's 150-500 km range and pinpoint accuracy, advancing its induction into India’s Armed Forces, officials said.
- The Defence Research and Development Organisation tested the Pralay missile from Dr APJ Abdul Kalam Island off Odisha on July 28 and 29, validating its maximum and minimum range capabilities.
- As an indigenously designed asset, DRDO developed the Pralay missile with a solid propellant quasi-ballistic design and advanced guidance, led by Research Centre Imarat, DRDO.
