The medical unions raise the stake in their negotiations with the Ministry of Health to achieve labor improvements and a Framework Statute separate from the rest of health professionals and have announced on Thursday a calendar of “indefinite strike” that will consist of weekly strikes once a month at least until June. The first protest will start on Monday, February 16, as the organizers have stated in a statement.

The agreed format is one week of strike action per month until June. The medical strike in Andalusia is paralyzing more than 329,000 healthcare procedures.
The strikes are scheduled for the week from 16 to 20 February, from 16 to 20 March, from 27 to 30 April, from 18 to 22 May and from 15 to 19 June.
