On the orders of USKOK, the Zagreb police arrested the director of the Sports Facilities Management Institution, Kosta Kostanjević, in the so-called Hipodrom affair, and the suspects are also the co-owner of the security company Eurolex Domagoj Galić and his father Slavko Galić, unofficially reported. USKOK previously reported that three people are suspected of corruption crimes as part of a criminal association, Hina reports.
Zagreb Mayor Tomislav Tomašević said on Wednesday that he supports an investigation against anyone suspected of stealing city money, but for now he does not believe that the director of the Sports Facilities Management Institution, Kosta Kostanjević, did the same in the Hipodrom case.
Without revealing details, the prosecution announced that arrests and urgent investigative actions, such as searches of homes and evidence collection, are underway and are being carried out by the Zagreb police on the orders of USKOK.
As we unofficially learned, the director of the Sports Facilities Management Institution, Kosta Kostanjević, Domagoj Galić from Eurolex Protection, and his father were arrested.
