Flemish Prime Minister Matthias Diependaele says he wants to support “part of” the billion-dollar investment in Antwerp that put the chemical group BASF on the brink. “But we are not going to keep anything alive that is not profitable,” says Diependaele. “We can build a bridge, but doing so permanently is nonsensical.”
