The Slovenian world champion won his second Walloon Flèche by surpassing the competition in the Huy Wall. Despite 10 seconds ahead in 400 m, however, he is still far from Julian Alaphilippe's record in the last kilometer.
While Pogacar almost took off over the infamous wall, Skjelmose crashed heavily into the asphalt.
Slovenian Tadej Pogacar took victory number 94 of his career when he masterfully outpaced everyone on the final climb in Fl�che Wallonne. Dane Mattias Skjelmose crashed and retired.
