The newly appointed head of New York City's Office of Tenant Protection is facing criticism for her past social media posts. Mayor Zohran Mamdani, who took office earlier this year, appointed activist Cea Weaver to head the office. She has previously called for "seizures of private property" and called homeownership a "weapon of white supremacy," according to the New York Post.
