DETROIT – A man died of a self-inflicted gunshot to the head after a shootout with police officers early Tuesday, police said. During a car and foot chase, officers fired a total of eight shots as the suspect allegedly shot at them. However, Rakim Wright, 32, of Detroit, suffered only one gunshot wound, which was self-inflicted, Warren Police officials said during a press conference, WDIV Local 4 reports.
