- Following a complaint, authorities registered an FIR at Simri police station and Darbhanga police took Mohammad Rizvi alias Raja into custody late Thursday, continuing interrogation.
- Bihar Chief Minister Nitish Kumar condemned the indecent language and urged apologies from Congress and RJD, while Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath called them hooligans who created anarchy after coming to power.
