ANDERSON COUNTY, S.C. (WSPA) - A cyclist has died nearly two weeks after they were hit by a SUV in Anderson County. According to the state highway patrol, on August 21, a Ford SUV was traveling east on Firetower Road near Mountain View Road when it crossed over the center line and hit a bicyclist going west on Firetower Road. A bicyclist riding with five companions died of injuries sustained when he was struck by an SUV on East Porter Avenue on Monday morning, according to the Chesterton Police Department.
