Following a forensic audit of the Stillwater Pioneer Booster Club’s finances, the Payne County District Attorney’s Office has charged Britt Alan Weaver with one count of embezzlement.

Former Vestaburg PTO treasurer charged with embezzling

The former treasurer of the Vestaburg Elementary School Parent Teacher Organization (PTO) is charged with embezzling funds from that organization. Jamie Lynn Maxwell, 39, of Edmore is charged with embezzlement between $1,000 and $20,000 from a non-profit or charitable organization, a felony with a possible 10-year prison sentence and/or a $15,000 fine or three times the amount embezzled.
