CORNING – A man was arrested  Saturday after an alleged hit-and-run incident in Corning. According the Corning Police Department, offices at around 5:50 p.m. responded to a call regarding an intentional hit and run involving a possible DUI driver near the intersection of Marguerite Avenue and Solano Street. Corning Police says that officers later found the suspect, who identified himself as Orlando Maldonado Valencia, hiding near bushes. According to authorities, Valencia attempted to run away from officers but was captured after a brief struggle.
