The bill, submitted by the PSOE and supported by 311 deputies, establishes a prison of between six months and two years for those who “apply or practice” these tortures.
The PSOE defended this Tuesday in Congress the taking into consideration of a bill to decriminalize by amending the Penal Code the controversial conversion therapies aimed at eliminating sexual orientation, sexual identity or gender expression. The initiative will be handled with the support of the members of the legislature, who already advise the PSOE that they will register amendments that make the text «more guarantee» .
