Almost 30 years ago, a man in Völklingen murdered a couple - now he has been sentenced to 14 years of imprisonment. The Landgericht Saarbrücken sentenced today 70-year-olds for murder in two cases and attempted murder in seven other cases. Procuratorate and co-claimers had demanded a life sentence and seen a particular gravity of the guilt. The defender had pleaded for acquittal.
