The head of a German health insurance firm has warned that the new coalition agreement between the CDU/CSU and SPD will lead to 'a massive increase' in statutory health insurance contributions by 2026 at the latest.

The SPD base will vote on the coalition agreement with the Union from Tuesday. First Juso associations will position themselves.

According to economists and health insurance companies, the plans of CDU/CSU and SPD laid down in the coalition agreement will lead to significantly higher social security contributions. Some even fear a collapse of the social system.

Union and SPD have not included passages from the exploratory paper in the coalition agreement - a massive increase in social security contributions threatens, warns the DAK. The social association VdK wants a financial reform.

The plans of the SPD and the Union on migration and social policy are resisted by parts of the Jusos. In a decision they criticize the projects in the coalition agreement as unsolidar.
