Syracuse, N.Y. — The YMCA of Central New York has told its members that a registered sex offender involved in a recent incident with a child in North Syracuse was a Y member.YMCA officials said in the notice to members on Wednesday that a system it uses at all its facilities never flagged that this person was a registered sex offender.
