There was a violent clash between two communities over Tulsi Manch in South 24 Parganas of West Bengal, in which incidents of stone pelting, vandalism and arson took place. Several policemen were injured in this clash and Section 144 has been imposed in the area. After this incident, BJP has demanded deployment of central forces.
