Turkey: Youth takes over the fight

Many young Turks participate in the biggest demonstrations in years. Because of the frustration about the bad economic prospects and the authoritarian leadership hundreds of thousands leave their homeland. But there are also those for whom emigration is not an option. They form a new protest culture.

The opposition party CHP has triggered the protests in Turkey, and now it is withdrawing. Young people are all the more determined to go to the streets.
