Charleston police arrest suspect in downtown restaurant stabbing
CHARLESTON, S.C. (WCBD) – Police in Charleston have arrested a man accused of stabbing a coworker at a downtown restaurant. Officers responded to Fuel on Rutledge Avenue around 2:45 p.m. on June 6. Callers reported that an employee had been stabbed during an altercation with a coworker. The suspect fled before police arrived, according to the Charleston Police Department. The police arrested a man at Station Zuid tonight. He is suspected of a stabbing in Almere. A woman was injured in the stabbing. "He had run away and we received information that he was on the train," said a spokesperson for the Central Netherlands police. "So we stopped the train and arrested him." According to the police spokesperson, the train did not stand still for long. The suspect is being taken to a police station in Almere by officers.
