[Nishihara] On September 28th, the Onaha Neighborhood Association (Chairman Izumikawa Hiroshi) in Nishihara Town paid a celebratory visit to the town's oldest resident, Mitsuko Shinkawa (108), to celebrate her Chaju (1888 years old). Shinkawa laughed and said, "I'm hard of hearing, but I'm in good health. My blood pressure is good. I'm not sick." Shinkawa was born in 1917 (Taisho 6).
