Andres Wilkinson faces up to 10 years in prison for harboring an undocumented immigrant he supported financially and transported through border checkpoints, prosecutors said.
- Updated Feb. 13, 2026, a CBP supervisor was federally charged with harboring an undocumented immigrant he allegedly had a romantic relationship with, authorities said.
- In April 2025, CBP's Office of Professional Responsibility learned the woman was living with Wilkinson, who was aware of her immigration status, after she entered on a temporary visa in August 2023.
- Wilkinson allegedly provided housing, credit cards, and financial support while driving the woman through U.S. Border Patrol checkpoints near the Texas border using vehicles registered to Wilkinson.
- After his Feb. 10 arrest, Andres Wilkinson remains in custody, made an initial appearance, has detention hearings set before U.S. Magistrate Judge Brian Bajew, and faces up to 10 years in federal prison and a $250,000 maximum fine, prosecutors say.
- Records indicate the woman may be Wilkinson's niece while filings show a withdrawn green card petition, raising relationship complexity questions, investigators say.
