ALTOONA, Pa. (WTAJ) -- The report on the deadly Colonial Apartments fire in Altoona was finalized at the end of last week. Altoona Fire Inspector Justin Smithmyer said the cause of the fire was ruled undetermined. The cause of the fire that damaged the Colonial Apartments, off Burgoon Road in Altoona, and resulted in the death of one of its residents, has been ruled undetermined. Reportedly Altoona Fire Inspector Justin Smithmyer said the damage was so extensive that a cause cannot be pinpointed. The blaze broke out on March 18th, killing 65-year-old Darren Duffel.
