The Volkswagen Group has published its results for the first half of the year. Vehicle sales increased slightly by 0.5 percent to 4.4 million units, and sales revenue remained almost unchanged from the previous year at €158.4 billion (H1 2024: €158.8 billion, -0.3 percent). Operating profit declined significantly by 33 percent to €6.7 billion (H1 2024: €10 billion). The Group estimates the operating return on sales at 4.2 percent.
The parent company Volkswagen reported this in its earnings report. Škoda's half-year sales increased year-on-year to 15.07 billion euros from 13.65 billion euros in the same period last year.
