Cañon City 2025 budget falls short

(CAÑON CITY, Colo.) — Manitou Springs and several other cities across Colorado have reported budget shortcomings in 2025. Cañon City looks to be joining them. According to Cañon City officials, sales tax is falling 4.5% below the City's budget. This comes out to roughly a $450,000 shortfall for the City's General Fund Budget.
