Caldwell’s Memorial Park Pool set to reopen after years of delays

After closing due to electrical problems and growing construction costs, the city is opening the pool this May with many upgrades.

Improved Bishop Park pool opens this month

From the Athens-Clarke County Leisure Services Department:The Leisure Services Department will hold a ribbon cutting ceremony and open the newly reconstructed Bishop Park pool.  This special occasion is scheduled for Friday, May 23 at 11:00 a.m. Pool admission will be free all day and the first 100 guests will receive a beach towel and one-day pool pass to be used during the summer at any of the department’s five pools or two splash pads.The poo…
