Britt City Council hires police officer,

BRITT – The Britt City Council met in regular session on July 1. The council approved the conditional hiring of Maddox Bernino for the Britt Police Department, contingent on successful completion of training at the Iowa Law Enforcement Academy. He will start with the department on July 15. Police Chief Martinez said Bernino comes from the Belmond area.
