GARNER - On July 3, the Garner Fire Department responded to a fire at 2475 Sioux Ave. that destroyed a machine shed. According to fire chief Brad Upmeyer, the department was initially paged for a fully engulfed structure fire with an occupant trapped inside. However, firemen learned shortly after arriving at the scene, the occupant thought to be inside was actually at a neighboring residence.See the Story
