Weekend Bomb Threat in West City Ends Safely, No Bomb Found
WEST CITY – West City Police responded to a bomb threat at a local business around 10:30 Sunday night. Several area law enforcement agencies and first responders arrived and helped police evacuate nearby businesses and set up a secure perimeter. The Illinois Secretary of State Police bomb squad and an explosive detection K-9 unit searched the area and buildings. Nothing was found and everything was declared safe just after midnight.
