Friday, September 6, the municipality of Monfort in Gers sounded the alarm about the condition of the Château d'Esclignac. Formerly owned by brothers Igor and Grichka Bogdanoff, it is now falling into ruins, and the state could force potential heirs to carry out major preservation work.
The historic building, acquired by Igor and Grichka Bogdanoff in 1986, has been deteriorating rapidly since the death of the star twins. Indeed, carried away by Covid-19 between December 2021 and January 2022, the brothers left behind an architectural heritage in danger.
