Body found floating in canal in Oakland Park

A body was pulled from a canal in Oakland Park Sunday morning, deputies said. According to the Broward Sheriff’s Office, deputies received reports of a body floating in the canal located in the 300 block of Northwest 32nd Street. Once at the scene, dive teams were able to recover the body. The deceased identity or cause of death has not been disclosed as an investigation is underway.
