Tension erupted in West Bengal’s Nagrakata on Monday when BJP MP Khagen Murmu and MLA Shankar Ghosh were attacked by locals while visiting flood-hit areas. Both sustained injuries and were taken to a local hospital. Videos show Murmu with blood from his nose and the leaders’ car windshield shattered, while Ghosh suffered minor injuries and torn clothes. Police promptly reached the scene.
