Already in the first Grand Prix of the year Bartosz Zmarzlik proved his class. The Pole got 24 points in Landshut and was the absolute measure of things. The German drivers ended up in the last places.

Defending champion Bartosz Zmarzlik won the inaugural Speedway World Championships in Landshut. This was his 27th victory in the Grand Prix series. In the final, he beat Briton Daniel Bewley, Latvian Andrzejs Lebedevs and Australian Brady Kurtz. Dominik Kubera finished sixth.

For the 27th time in his career, Bartosz Zmarzlik won a Speedway Grand Prix round – on Saturday, at the inauguration of the new world championship season, he won in Landshut, Germany.
