AVATAR: SEVEN HAVENS Drops First Trailer, Reveals Release Date
The 26-episode series will debut as a binge release and follows a young Earthbender who discovers she is the new Avatar after Korra.
- On Thursday, Paramount+ announced Avatar: Seven Havens will debut globally on Oct. 9. Created by Michael Dante DiMartino and Bryan Konietzko, the series marks the first new entry in the animated Avatar-verse in over a decade.
- Set in a world shattered by a devastating cataclysm, the show centers on a young Earthbender who discovers she is the new Avatar after Korra. The logline states this role "marks her as humanity's destroyer, not its savior."
- Saheli Khan leads the voice cast as Pavi, alongside Aishu Devan, Akshay Khanna, and Major Curda. Produced by Nickelodeon and Avatar Studios, all 26 episodes divided into two "books" will release simultaneously as a binge drop.
- Paramount+ unveiled the news at San Diego Comic-Con, alongside the upcoming film Avatar Aang: The Last Airbender. That film premieres July 25 following an earlier online leak that moved up its release schedule.
- Unlike previous shows, this entry abandons the weekly release format for a complete binge drop. It arrives 12 years after The Legend of Korra concluded and over 21 years after The Last Airbender debuted.
