A woman raped and beaten in the garbage bin room in the basement of her residence in Perpignan

The particularly violent assault took place on Wednesday 26 March in the middle of the afternoon in the basement of a residence in the area of the Perpignan railway station.

A 54-year-old woman was violently assaulted in the garbage storage area of her residence in Perpignan (Pyrénées-Orientales), Wednesday afternoon. Under the threat of a knife, she was raped with an object, beaten, and then stripped of her jewelry. The assailant is on the run and an investigation is under way.
