A ARD survey reveals once again: The AfD lives on fears in the population. People who feel insecure tend to it.

“Disappointment with the policies of other parties” often leads people to turn to the AfD. One in four is in favor of cooperation between the AfD and other parties.

Disappointment with government policies is what strengthens the AfD most in Germany. This is the result of a survey conducted by the Infratest polling institute among 1,300 eligible voters for the ARD's "Deutschlandtrend" poll. Of five predefined aspects that have contributed to the party's success, respondents most frequently cited "disappointment with the policies of other parties": 60 percent of all supporters and 39 percent of AfD supporters…
