‘The Hunting Wives’ Promotes Duo To Series Regular, Sets Another Return As Season 2 Starts Production
Netflix confirmed an eight-episode season with several returning cast members and plans to announce more, continuing after the series became the most-viewed U.S. streaming show, creator said.
- On November 17, 2025, Netflix announced production for Season 2 of The Hunting Wives had officially begun; the eight-episode season will film in the United States and release in nearly all Netflix markets.
- Following strong viewership, Netflix renewed the series in September after Season 1, debuted July 21, became the most-viewed streaming series in the U.S. one month later.
- Showrunner Rebecca Cutter and producers confirmed Brittany Snow, Malin Akerman, Jaime Ray Newman, Dermot Mulroney, Evan Jonigkeit and George Ferrier will return, with Karen Rodriguez and Hunter Emery promoted and Branton Box guesting.
