STA: One Quarter of All Cars Sold Worldwide This Year Will Be Electric

Electric car sales are booming everywhere, especially in China. This year, 20 million electric vehicles are expected to be sold worldwide, accounting for more than a quarter of all new cars. In the first quarter of this year, sales were 35 percent higher than in the same period last year, according to the International Energy Agency (IEA).
